Who is Who among those going to Libya 2011?

CafOnline- The seven countries that alongside host Libya will participate in the Orange African Junior Championship from March 18 to April
1, 2011 are now known. The participants are reigning Champions Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Egypt, Gambia, Lesotho and Mali.All the teams that won their second leg away matches qualified for the competition, including Gambia which took a slender (1-0) advantage over
the Junior elephants. Ghana is the team that scored the most number of goals during the qualifiers as they scored four goals against Benin and conceded just one.Egypt was in a difficult situation against Senegal in the return leg but the Egyptians scored three quick goals after the recess to ensure they qualify for the competition. Nigeria had difficulties in defeating Mauritius Island while Gabon which beat Mali 1-0 failed to make it to Libya. Cameroon overcame Congo while Lesotho suffered to beat Kenya. Gambia is the only country to have won away as they defeated Ivory Coast at the Felix Houphouët-Boigny à Abidjan.
With the exception of Gambia which finished third at 2007 Championships in Congo and Lesotho which made its debut in 2005 in Benin, the other five participants are regular participants of the competition including Ghana - three times winners in 1993, 1999, and 2009.
The Junior national team of Ghana were also runners up in 2001 and in 1991 they emerged third. Egypt have won the title twice (1991, 2003) and in 2005 they were runners up. The team has also emerged third on two occasions in 1993 and 2001.
Cameroon on the other hand have won the competition once (1995), were loosing finalists twice (1993, 2009) and were third in 1999.
Nigeria have also won the competition once in 2005 and lost the finals twice in 1999 and 2007. Nigeria also emerged third in 2009. Finally Mali, were third in 2003 and fourth in 1995.
Libya which shall be hosting the competition will be in their first attempt as they have never played the African Under-20 Championships.
Egypt will be in its 9th participation, Cameroon, Ghana and Mali in their 8th, Nigeria in its 6th while Gambia and Lesotho will be in their second attempt.
