My guess is: this will be their slogan for the presidential elections. Don't be surprised if he tells the people that they will not benefit from the project unless they vote for him.
GRTS,his main griots, will be carrying this story for as long as they can.
The good thing is,many people are no longer easily fooled by this propaganda. However,it must be admitted that this particular project is long overdue. Hope the money is well spent and a proper road constructed for the country.
The sad thing is that this money is going into the hands of the man who should not be in charge in the first.
Gambia is not your ordinary country where the law counts. He does whatever he wants, no one challanges him. When was the last we heard of a minister resigning, despite the daily abuses Jammeh subject his own men close to him?
He can do what he wants and no one dares ask questions. In fact we are lucky that w read such stories on independent news wire, the Daily Observer or GRTS would have rather give the credit to Jammeh who has not left Gambia for a long time now.
Jammeh constructs Mandinaba - Suma Road; they will delibrerately erase the part that indicate the source of the fund...As if there is a money making machine in Kanilai or that Allah actually does send him money.
