Senegal, joins Gambia others for Rwanda 2011
Monday, 22 November 2010 01:08
Neighbours Senegal was among the latest batch of African teams to reach the Under -17 finals Sunday. They beat Ghana 2-0 to overcome the same score line they suffered
in Accra and went ahead to eliminate the visitors on penalties. It is the first time in recent memory that Senegal have made it to the this stage, unlike her senior team which managed to reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup. The Lion Cubs now join the Baby Scorpions and others in the ballot for the tussle in Rwanda in January 2011.
