Remanded Gambian gender activists file bail application

Gambian authorities have accused the duo 'theft' involving 30,000 Euros -- a charge they continue to deny.
Rights groups and family members of the detained gender activists have condemned the arrest and subsequent detention of the two, claiming that the whole episode was politically-motivated and was based on an 'executive order'.
