President Wade reaffirms readiness to resolve Casamance crisis

wadeAPA - President Abdoulaye of Senegal, on Sunday evening renewed his readiness “to relentlessly” pursue peaceful means of resolving the secessionist crisis in the southern province of Casamance, APA can confirm.
President Wade said his government would exhaust all peaceful and legitimate ways of ending the conflict, saying he was determined to provide a lasting solution to the conflict in the region where separatists have been waging what they called a war of independence against the central government in Dakar sincewade the early 1980s.
Speaking on the eve of the 51st anniversary of Senegal’s independence, President Wade promised to protect and facilitate the social and economic rehabilitation of “those among the rebels who will lay down their arms” as part of his government’s Programme for the reconstruction and restitution of normal life in Casamance.
However, the Senegalese leader sent a strong to the country’s detractors that should they persist in abusing innocent people, whose desire for a peaceful life is often sabotaged, the state was unreservedly committed to vigorously defending the country’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity, two principles, which he said are not negotiable.
After a long lull, the Casamance region has over the past few months been embroiled in renewed violence which claimed the lives of about 20 people as wanton acts of vandalism and robbery underline a deterioration in the security situation in the region.

Badara, We all have the right to express how we feel! It appears to me that Mike's ego is extremely bruised! Some of us have been hurt by his continued sarcastic statements. I have to dish it right back. I chased the mice back in that hole in his castle. Have you noticed for 24 hrs period Mike, the loner was off line.

Mike Scales,

I have coin this phrase just for you!!![

He happens to be the dumbest descendant of King Henry. His ancestor according to history was notorious for beheading women. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
He has had 4 wives, and views Queen Katherine’s castle from his bedroom window each morning! He spends thousands of hours on the internet doing nothing productive but to spew hate.

claimed he cures all major illness, splashing millions$ unaccountable ,and brutality oppressing anyone who question his rule, sanity and ability or interest for Gambia, rivals jailed or sacked; Fanny is hard to ignore these blatant scenes, if you objective is to move your people from that circle of poor health, poverty, ignorance, underdevelopmen t and corruption. Many especially inside Gambia tend to leave it to God and I know why!
As for Mike Scales, God knows he is neither Gambians problem nor to the people you good heartedly helped in my opinion. God bless you for your deeds to those poor people and pray god give them a leader who will someday enable them to pack medicines and send to others experiencing the same fate as you are doing !!!!

If I have to join hands with you; you have to think strategically and long term for Gambia. It says that prevention is better that cure cure cure. How can one not question the sanity of a doctor without qualification and claimed to cure in secret all major sickness on Earth and continues to look the other way and give boxes of medicine to this doctor’s patients? In a modern health care aspects and development theories how can you ever have an efficient and effective health care if you don’t address the practice of such doctor? That said, It a good gesture you do, but joining hands to help my people when the one leading them is driving in a convey of hummers, pending trail alleged involving in secret arms deals, accused of people disappearances and murders,

Fanny
I have studied at Gambia high school and got a BA and MA in International Business and in Economics. I work as a buyer for MNC in the West and do have influential family/friends in Gambia private and civil service. I have no doubt I will know your husband if he works in a Bank in Gambia. I personally know two MD bankers in Gambia who do stay with me when visiting the west. I have two kids in their teens and one is in Gambia for holidays where I have two houses rented and money help pay for other extended family daily expenses and children education .I think Gambians are ruthlessly oppressed people by yahya jammeh and the way he rule Gambia is divisive, and destructive in the long run. Every genuine person will not have difficulty in seeing that. I am glad that you have many boxes of medical sup to send home. I feel sad that after 17 years in that tiny country you still need to do that.

Badara,
Social Work with communities:

At this level, the social work "THEORISTS" seeks to understand how societies are structured, how inequality might be built into such structures and how to remedy it. they are also concern with advocating for policies that seek to provide assistance or inprove conditions for struggling or marginalized communities. Oftentimes, social workers who use theory at this level are POLICY ADVISERS, & RESEARCHERS.

Mike, This final statement is for you. I am personally recommending you get a job in a stable." I am not interested in any position. I will volunteer where help is needed. You are an idle loner who spends many hours making fun of Gambians and other Africans. Get a life!
