Notorious Gbagbo youth leader seeks asylum in Angola

Ble_GoudeJollofNews - Ivory Coast’s renegade former president, Laurent Gbagbo’s camp appear to be fast crumbling as forces loyal to President elect Alassane Ouattara fight their way into the center of Abidjan.
The prospect of Mr Gbagbo’s imminent down fall appears higher with reports of the defection of key military figures of his, including army chief of staff Gen. Phillippe Mangou.Ble_Goude
And now, information has emerged that the fearful youth leader responsible for series of attacks against innocent civilians and UN peacekeepers, Charles Ble Goude, is seeking asylum in Angola.
The 39 year old leader of the terrorist organization that calls itself the Young Patriots hide behind outdated pan-Africanist ideologies in support of Laurent Gbagbo’s divisive nationalist policies. While diplomats seek solution to the political impasse that rocked Ivory Coast late last year, Ble Goude was busy fanning hatred using state control machineries. His Young Patriot forces have been linked to number of attacks on UN forces and the killing of many innocent Ivorians suspected of supporting the internationally recognized president, Alassane Ouattara.
Angola, under President Jose Eduardo dos Santos, is one of few countries that expressed support for Mr Gbagbo. Apparently, Ble Goude saw the country as a safer choice for political asylum.
However, according to reports attributed to diplomatic sources, Ble Goude’s request to the Angolan government to grant him political asylum has met with stiff challenges as the Angolans are said to be wary about the repercussion of granting him safe heaven.
Angola’s ambassador to Abidjan is reported to have said that Ble Goude was under a UN sanctions, and that Angola would not want to alienate the United Nations as the Geneva Convention which provides for political refugees is a UN convention that cannot be granted to individuals that are targeted by UN sanctions.
There were some reports, Wednesday, that members of the Young Patriots stormed the Youths ministry in Abidjan, demanding to see Ble Goude. This revelation about his imminent escape into exile confirms the fears of many of the misguided youth that they risked being abandoned by the Gbagbo people who have only used them to cause unrest in the name of nationalism.

Thank You

Mr Jatto

It will and must get tough by military means. You right to warn them since Gambian freedom and democracy is far far more important than their chronic idiocy and opportunistic petty cash collection lifestyle they have done for the past 17 years while Gambians are killed, abduct, jailed, derived of work, tortured, women raped, and lack of freedom for what a SINGAPORE GAMBIA? Where you can’t even have reliable electricity or manufacture a simple bulb to light your streets rather annexing businesses and dealing in weapons and drugs. Soon my brother god willing.
