No movement forward without justice

Lawyer_Edu_GomezGambia's Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Edward Anthony Gomez, has said that no society can move properly forward without justice because justice delivery was of paramount importance in nation building.
'The legal profession requires continuous learning and the law also changes to keep abreast with the society,' he told a cross section of stateLawyer_Edu_Gomez prosecutors at the opening of a training workshop, organized by the Legal Capacity Building Programme (LCBP) Phase 2 with funding from the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DfID).
According to Justice Gomez, the training, on Monday is Banjul, the Gambian capital, is meant to enhance and improve the knowledge of state counsels as their profession requires continuous learning.
He hailed the efforts of the LCBP and the DfID as good partners with the Ministry of Justice, stressing that the prosecutors should be able to improve on their performance after the workshop.
'Make the best use of the training you are getting toay,' Gomez also told the prosecutors, adding that 'with such trainings giants strides have been made and will continue to be made in Gambia's justice delivery system.'
Sanna Dahaba, the project co-ordinator of the LCBP Phase 2, said the training was very important to the Gambian judiciary as the trainees were deeply involved in the profession.
Dahaba pledged that the LCBP would continue to do more to meet the demands of the Justice ministry.
The training brought together senior state counsels, the Chief Justice as a resource person, and the Solicitor General and Legal Secretary.

We have reached a state where it is obvious than ever that we must use all neccessary step to get rid of this government in place in Banjul, because it is clear that they know very well that they are not fear with Gambians, yet they continue to take the path they are leading.
People like Edward Gomez will get the nastiest surprise in life when the system change; because eing crude to Gambians is one thing, but doing so while treating the people with disrespect is unforgivable.
Here you are, making such proposteri=ously ludicrous statement, yet you continue to deny that injust abounds in Gambia, in a country where you are preciding over the justice system.
God will pay you, but before that we will have dealt with you in this world.

Edward Anthony Gomez’s like a witch with a baby leg in mouth as chewing stick whilst preaching for safety of humanity. I wonder what kind of material God made other people of??? I mean, some people just don’t have the dignity which distinguishes genuine/real humans from rest of living & non-living things!!!

Edu Gomez,Minister of JUSTICE!

Jesus H. Christ! Man does your words ring hollow and empty! Here you are presiding over a system that is well know for it's chronic delays in delivering justice not to mention the fact that you have found willing foot soldiers among those morally bankrupt Nigerian crooks passing themselves off as guardians of our sacred constitution.

"He who hides the wrong thing surely did the wrong thing".
From the unjust jailing of Peters to the death sentences passed on 8 Gambian citizens based on such flimsy evidence, you and your pack of fellow vultures represent the worst form of subservience imaginable.
As you are driven to work everyday in your comfortable official car, you drive right past that greatest monument to shame you call a prison. You know quiet well about those languishing in there for years without even being charged! Shame on you and your ilk, Gambia deserves better than this!
