Hi! It's interesting to note that this very important mission is not rendered a comment in Norwegian media, as far as I can see. Maybe Mercy Ships need to steep up their PR-work?? Greetings, Jan Ø.

I am very delighted that the mercy ship anchored in GAMBIA. I watch a documentary about this ship and its activities in African coast. I almost cried. They are angels on earth. I was going to contact them and lobby for them to dock in Banjul and help the kids paraded on GRTS with infections that have deprived them of childhood and schooling and need to go abroad for cure or operations. I hope the people are informed about the ship since they have all the modern facility in that ship to do help these kids. I also think Gambian Diasporas associations should setup funds solely to help such cases of illness among kids who need to travel abroad for treatment. I will definitely give cash monthly for such fund. If there is any please inform let we know on online papers.
