Journalist Lamin A Darboe Laid to rest

By JollofNews CorrespondentThe body of late Lamin Darboe has been laid to rest.
The media fraternity in Gambia has been mourning the loss of the Gambian sport journalist who died last Saturday after his car plunged off a ferry into the river.
Darboe who worked with the Banjul based Foroyaa Newspaper was laid to rest this afternoon following a postmortem earlier in the morning. A cross section of the media fraternity and family members attended the funeral.
A native of Nuimi Bakindik, Lamin A. Darboe is survived by a wife and three children.
