Friday, 27 August 2010 00:56
By Bubacarr SowePresident Yahya Jammeh has given out five million dalasis and three vehicles to his new in-laws after finding his new wife a virgin, Jollof News has reliably learnt.
Sources said that the president made a visit to his in-laws Wednesday evening at Tabokoto where he made the presentation in appreciation of Alima Sallah's virginity.
Such discovery is a source of pride and often calls for huge celebration in Gambian tradition. The Gambian leader chose to celebrate his own discovery with his characteristic donation of money to the family of the wife.
The president had earlier on paid a three million dalasis dowry to the girl’s family, sources also revealed.
Recently, it has emerged that the President Yahya Jammeh secretly married the 18 year girl but up to date no official statement has either confirmed or denied the union, leaving many people believing its existence. However, Jollof News understands that there will be a marriage ceremony in early September. It has also been reported that the new first lady is on a shopping spree in New York, the United States.
Yahya Jammeh is currently married to a Moroccan with Guinean origin, Zeinab Suma Jammeh since 1998 with two kids, Mariam and Muhammed. His marriage to Zeinab came after his short-lived marriage to Tuti Faal.
A subject of constant rumor, Jammeh has also been suspected to have once secretly married a Banjulian, Amina Cole.

If such is to be spen by the presendent its not a problem but let it be not air out out to distraction the attention of his 18 year old girl fellows.
What Yaya has done in terms of socio-economic development in the Gambia cannot be emphazised. We are living witness to the developments taking place in the Gambia. Remember The great America is built by Americans over many many years! Rome is not built in a day.
If the former government has done what Yaya did, then the current government will have to begin from where they (former government stopped in terms of development). But they failed awfully. No visible sign of development.
Yaya 4 life is the slogan we Gambians adopted whether u like it or not.
Cheers

Your sound like if your parents owns Gambia. Like I said, you stop writing like a kid and engaged in substance. If you can also try and explain idiotic behaviours in Gambia you being told in your bed stories. Where is the freedom of speech you said to me if people don’t agree with your idol they should go to Pluto? Nasa cannot evacuate whole of Gambia to pluto. Pluto is very far and no life and why pluto?. Are you going to pay for it? Your comments make me laugh. How can you think of such comments when people are concern about you and your human rights in Gambia? Please don’t waste your life with slogans like jammeh 4 life. Am sure you wont want jammeh be 100 years and still be your president. If he dies who is next 4 life? Calling your self Jammeh for life is not normal.
