Imam Ngaido is said to have appeared before magistrate Taiwo at the Banjul magistrate court on Thursday 30th March and he was charged for human and child trafficking.
According to our sources, Imam Ngaido has been granted bail in the sum of D500, 000 with a leased landed property within the greater Banjul Area; but the accused is yet to fulfill his bail conditions. According to a close relative, it is impossible for them to meet the bail requirements. This means if the accused is found guilty he is likely to spend 50 years in jail.
