Gambian kid murdered in Sweden

Seedy_JammehBy Kemo Cham
A young Gambian had his life cut short and his sporting ambition dashed after been shot dead by an unidentified assailant (s), Friday, the Swedish media report.
19 year old Seedy Rahman Jammeh died in what appears like an execution style murder - shot at close range at the back, with two bullets.Seedy_Jammeh
Police, who have appealed for information in the hunt for the culprit (s), according to media reports, have however indicated that the victim might have been a mistaken identity for his assailant (s). They said Jammeh may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
“Several of Seedy’s friends saw him shot by a masked man in the Stockholm suburb of Alby before fleeing the scene,” Swedish daily newspaper, Aftonbladet, reported.
The shooting incident reportedly occurred near a children's pool behind a school in the area.
Young Seedy Jammeh had had dinner with his mother and a friend who was visiting, watched movie for a while before setting out with the friend. A few hours later, his family learned that he was on forensic medicine in hospital.
“It hurts so much to know that he will never return. He was my helper,” mother, Ndey Haddy Touray Jammeh, was quoted as saying.
Sporting Ambition
The police, according to various newspaper reports in Sweden, have already ruled out any possibility of the victim’s involvement in criminal activities as he had been totally unknown to them.
“The 19-year-old is not known to us previously… so we do have to start from square one in identifying him," a police spokesperson, Hesam Akbari, was quoted. He ruled out the young victim’s possible involvement in any previous criminal activity.
Seedy Jammeh spent much time on sports. He ran regularly, trained at a gym and martial arts. He also played football and ran the Stockholm Marathon a few years ago. Friends and family described him as a well-behaved sports guy who distanced himself from crime and dreamed of becoming an elite athlete.
Victims_parents“We only know that our boy neither smoked nor drank, he was clean," father, Famara Jammeh, said. “It was his dream to become a great athlete."
“He was certainly not a criminal. He did not even smoke, "said Seedy’s elder brother, Momodou Dampha, 31. “I want to know why… He has not done anything against anyone. I can not imagine who would want him so bad."
“It's hard to believe that he has just been assassinated. He was a quiet guy who respected all. Now, it does not feel safe in Alby any longer, "said a friend of the victim, Gardie Company.
A Hero
Another newspaper report painted a heroic figure of Young Seedy Jammeh, describing him as “a nice guy who messed not without reason, but stood upright for his views” and "protected vulnerable adults”.
“It sounds corny but he was a bit like Robin Hood. He often defended the weak against the tough guys. A week ago he said he wanted to stay away from Alby because there was so much crap there," Swedish tabloid Expressen quoted a friend of the victim whom it said wished to remain anonymous.
According to Expressen, last Saturday night about 150 friends of Seedy held a memorial service at the pool at the rear of the Cottage Gate School in Alby, where he was murdered. The mourners came to honor him, with candles, flowers and a long list of greeting cards with the words "Rest in peace", the paper said.

lamin Ceesay, I will never respond to you as you did, just I will refer you to the very person you are trying to show the seed of instigation between me and him. In the very person of Domou Sine Duragal. Please read his humblely apologetic message to me and see how a matured person should be acting on here, if you are jealous of someone having his degrees with all his sweat, then you are the most looser under this planet !
Lalo will always keep his fingers on the keyboard to talking to those with their sense of ability to think online here.
Not for your calibre to challenge Bro.
Finally I want to correct you here that the word you wrote here as: GOD SEEK is wrong Bro., You have to write it in this way: GOD SAKE... No offend but a correction Mr. Doctor !

Lalo Kebba
Apologise to you for my bad "language" towards you...it’s not necessary.. I am not visiting this site for that, nor to oppress any opinion....It just that some comments make one upset. It’s healthy that you engaged, like many here. But that does not necessary means, not addressing the degrading political situation in Gambia.Good ramadan to you

I Quote Domou Sine Duragal:
You accused him of "taking big" of his study. The irony here is, that exactly what you are doing here e.g. yo Degrees, yo editorial skill etc. I responded to your commend because I sensed you making a mockery about political enviro in Gambia and Africa, compared to Sweden the most liberal and free in Europe.
Well Bro.,I was just reminding Badara to knowing that, where ever one is, let him/her knows that he/she can meet someone far more better than him. So if you are calling that mockery then let it be but Badara knows what I mean that is why, I will refer you to his next rejoinder to me for you to know the use of education to a matured personality.
So brother, have your cool time in the Wazungu land !

Well Domou Sine Duragal, I just want to let you know that, I never ever brag of my qualification but due to such of your calibre that I want to let you know that what you think of me is not real is only that, But a very humble man Iam seeing myself.
And for the case of my encountered with Brother Badara here, I can say what I read through the lines from Badara sounds more educative than yours because after he realized that, we are all in the same boat of struggle, He prompted to put things in order which you lack bro, So you see the benefit of education here? And what does it mean to telling me of all your active services with those association abroad was that too not a self busting ?

@ Lalo Kebba.I remembered one Badara was lecturing you about his field of study Economics in reference to China development and Chairman Mao. As an ex academic student, He was more than right in his analysis of China and you were wrong and yet you still keep on talking of your visits to China which is irrelevant. You accused him of "taking big" of his study. The irony here is, that exactly what you are doing here e.g. yo Degrees, yo editorial skill etc. I responded to your commend because I sensed you making a mockery about political enviro in Gambia and Africa, compared to Sweden the most liberal and free in Europe(I know this). I just feel sad whenever I am in Gambia and people so scare to criticise. Trust me the poor are even worst. The wealthy and prominent will advised me to forget& quite about it Jammeh day will come. It gradually becoming a dictatorship country and its not Jammeh fault but ours failing to put a “FRAMEWORK”. It’s no one interest to see scared GAMBIANS nor Yahya.

@LALO KEBBA.You seem to be a sober guy.. I dont even think of Jammeh b4 or what he built or what he accomplished. Just for the fact that ITS HIS JOB AS RULER. Recently his tune in Kiangwest to those poor Mandinka people (see youtube). Why should he threaten them to get vote. Thats wrong and very unfair. Imagine people in the civil service and private sectors who rely on gov. Then, the HIV "graduation" again tells me that Yahya is getting COCKY as if all Gambian are "yes sirs".I think you know better since you batched a "degree"? (I have got a BA&MA years ago). So,Im sincere here and just know that Gambia deserves better and sure your Ghanaian friends will agree. Lastly, I lived in Rinkeby and was an active member and founder of Gambia Association that brings all tribes, kids from Oslo down to Copenhagen. I don’t need a visitor to tell me about Alby. Again Why Gambians don’t reveal themselves here etc, like you, is a subject for your next Uni dissertation to enlighten all Gambians.

Bamba,
Try to ask the JollofNews board about Lalo Kebba before jumping here to instigate hatry between me and such profs in their field, Ask them any time they put a News online here, if I see any mistakes of Grammatical errors, I used to correct them and they are such a humble person in this field that, in the next hour if I open the net I will see that, they've change the very article I directed them to do their home work.
Iam not bragging here but you can ask the able editors they might feed you back.
Iam not having any heart feeling for anyone here and if i see any thing that I doesn't have an Idea i just kept quite
And you were referring me to readthe article, I can say maybe you are the one who doesn't have a clue on the said article, because if you people carefully read my first rejoinder on it after that you are saying this, The as our brothers in SeirreLeone call it: MY BODY EDEY DIE FOR YOU HERE !
In the service of humanity I remain
