Gambian exiles, why we can’t continue to live in the Gambia
Saturday, 08 January 2011 13:44
Part 3As far back as 2003, one Member of this group i.e. Jakayi group who was very notorious in Cassamance for his outrageous brutality against civilians, by the name Borry Kambeela; ….was arrested in The Gambia and handed over to Abdoulaye Wade's Government….He was released without trial by
President Abdoulaye Wade and sent back to Cassamance, a free man!....`` I would here state that when Jammeh betrayed Borry Diedhou (Kambila), and Borry was arrested and brought to Mile II, Banjul, The Gambia, I shared the same cell block (Maximum Security Wing, No. 1) with Borry Diedhou (from Kambila, located between Niaoump and Bougari in Cassamance). I was in Single-man cell No. 4 and Borry in No. 11. From the horse´s mouth, Borry said he was stationed in Kanilai under the guidance of Jammeh himself. This statement of Borry was confirmed by many Gambian Army and Prison Officers who knew him in Kanilai. There is more as to why Jammeh housed Borry Diedhou in Kanilai. Jammeh can now remember Appai Colley, Kalilou Kolly, Abdou Kolly and Kallao Jarju in Kanilai…. Because of the long standing traditional relationship (Sanaku / Sanaw-yaa or Dankutoo / Kal) between Jolas and Fulas, and especially between the Sabally and Diedhou, Borry and I became like twins in adversity. We shared everything, everything for that matter. We all can recall the arms attack on Farafenni Camp….These attackers were in two teams. One attacked the camp, and another arrested en-route to the Gambia in TambaCounda-Senegal. Jammeh wanted this team in TambaCounda extradited. As a result, Borry was betrayed and arrested and a prisoner swop took place. So, Borry was sent to Dakar and the team from TambaCounda plus some attackers who fled to Kaolack and Dakar respectively sent to Banjul. If Jammeh says, ``(Borry) was arrested in The Gambia and handed over to Abdoulaye Wade's Government to be tried for his outrageous crimes.`` He (Jammeh) is telling lies, Borry was exchanged for the team arrested in TambaCounda allegedly said to be linked to the Farafenni Camp attack. The two governments (Dakar and Banjul) merely exchanged prisoners. Borry was never handed over (as per the meaning of the word) to be tried in Dakar. Borry Diedhou alone was exchanged with/for a team of 6-8 men!!! The 8-man-team: Sulayman Sarr, Aboubakr-Mballow Kanteh, Gibril Jallow, Bamba Drammeh, Swandi/Swanschi Camara, AbdouRahman Baldeh, Essa Baldeh, and Omar Dampha (John Dampha/Diouf Dampha). In the night Borry was taken out of Mile II, and the TambaCounda team from Dakar came, I had my serious military thoughts. I foretold a ``General Attack`` on MFDC areas. My analyses were confirmed correct when the MFDC camps were attacked/strafed and destroyed, and later Borry was released as a free man-here I credit Jammeh. He (Borry) shortly lived in Talinding-Kunjang/Sere Kunda where his wife, Hawwa Baji also lived. SANCTIONS ARE EVIL
Sanctions are evil and likewise anybody calling for sanctions. When I think about such actions as these (Sanctions…), I am reminded that we should have good government. Chaos would reign without it! Laws must be enforced to safeguard the health and well-being of the public. We have seen of recent, Zimbabwe, when from all angles, sanctions were called for. What was the intended result? ``…Regime Change…`` But Mugabe still is President even thought it’s a Power-Sharing-Government! Only the poor people suffered from the sanctions, and not the government! Or should we say President Barack Obama will come to their rescue? Maybe the UN-Security Council! That is Foolhardy!!! To all those thinking this, I’ll warn that such help (from these…) will never come!!!
“False Hope”: We [Gambians] are entitled to all assistance in matters of The Gambian state security and the sub-region. Any one could understand why many are in favour of or yearning for Senegal to invade The Gambia and remove Jammeh. Evil [Yahya JAMMEH and government…] consorts with evil. It is true Jammeh is ruling the country through puppet officials, and fear of his secret NIA tactics is holding the population at bay. The dictatorship and involvement in Cassamance marked the beginning of Jammeh's downfall.
The Holy-Bible teaches us “False Hope”: [Lamentations 4:17] “Moreover, our eyes failed, looking in vain for help; from our towers we watched for a nation that could not save us.”
In the last decades before Jerusalem was conquered, Judah’s kings frequently tried to play Egypt, another superpower, against Babylon. Right to the end they expected Egypt’s armies to rescue them. But as Jeremiah had warned, Egypt proved to be an unreliable ally.
“You will be disappointed by Egypt as you were by Assyria. You will also leave that place with your hands on your heads; …you will not be helped by them.” Do we Gambian(ns) hope and expect Senegal to remove Jammeh? What are we Gambians for The Gambia? If Senegal does remove Jammeh, that’s good news, but what implications are therein? What is the Price-to pay? What is the Prize-to gain? If the aim is to capture one criminal (Jammeh), why would we wish for Senegal to invade the entire country of The Gambia? If it happens, it will continue to be a TABOO in our Gambian history forever. It would be a disgraceful history and a shameful chapter in our history books. Of course, We could work with Senegal or any other(s), but the real job has to be done by Gambians ourselves!!! The result will be tremendous. We have only to genuinely unite and strategize….. It´s more honourable!
The world witnessed invasion of Panama in 1989/1990 ``Operation Nifty Package`` conducted by the United States Navy SEAL designed to capture and or prevent the escape of General Manuel Antonio Noriega. It was a success when eventually he Noriega surrendered on January 3, 1990. Panamanians cheered along the streets at the passing of U.S. forces, but because of the negative chapter it brought along with it, the nationalists continue to condemn the action to this day. It has become a shameful chapter in their history books. Noriega has become an uncomfortable reminder of Panama's brutish, olive drab past.
The Sad Truth: Don’t Worry, Be Happy. Nobody likes bad news, and if you can find a way to shrug it off, you probably will. There’s a saying that reads, ``Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like home``. But are we (Gambians) really willing to live in a humble home-in The Gambia? Tragically, many people (Gambians) in Europe and the USA have no home at all, much less a humble one, because we are separated from our loved ones and country. This thought should make us more ready to unite genuinely and sincerely so as to get back our nice Gambia under the Peoples´ Power-Power to the People. It doesn’t matter where you live, as long as you live where you are, and you’re not content where you are, put yourself in the fight to free The Gambia. In The Gambia, there is lasting protection, and fullness of joy. Away from The Gambia is temporary pleasure, but long-time loss and despair. The Gambia is our true home forever.

You're a nobody and I offer my apologies if it hurts you to come to that realization. You were a brute and have committed crimes in your past that you're yet to answer to. Until them, please spare us the garbage and your incoherent mumblings. The only reason you appear humble these days is that losing your power and bully pulpit leaves you no damn choice.
Because Sana knows alot not only about Arafang Yahya but the entire Gambia, You know people think that Sheickh Sana became a religious man after leaving the mile 2 that is a fat lie !
Sheickh Bairo was then attending night prayers during the last ten days of Ramadan call: "TAHADJUD" Let Sheickh Bairo himself proof me wrong or right here, I once pray with him at a Mosque just few meters from the main road in Banjulunding. Am I right Ya Sheickh ?
So let brothers give him chance to let the rat run out of the bag, from there, we will be hearing alot about The Smiling Coast.
