Musa Camara, 22, denies rape, a serious sexual assault and sexual assault in relation to a 23-year-old woman in Witney on June 30 last year.
He told Oxford Crown Court yesterday he did not trust police after his brother was beaten to death by officers in Gambia.
Camara, of Burwell Drive, Witney, twice told investigators he had not been in Witney that day and had not met the alleged victim, before later admitting having sex with her after DNA evidence linked him to the scene.
He said he was “scared of what the police might do” and did not trust his interpreter nor his solicitor. d murdered his brother in Africa.

Looking at this woman's record of making false rape allegations, Oxfordshire police should have first examined the CCTV footage of the hotel before charging Musa. That would have saved cost and time to both Musa and the police.

Thank God for the Camera's showing her following MR. Camara and later holding hands and so on.....This innocent young dude would find himself in jail for a long time. Mr. Camara must sue every and any in Oxford County for assult on his character.

Jollof must report the fact that Mr Camara has been cleared.
