Gambia U-20 Scorpions land in fired up Freetown

sierra_leone_u-20Sierra Leone has vowed  to avenge the heavy flogging they got in Banjul at the hands of the Gambia's  youth team that we at Gamsports called 'Young Scorpions' in two weeks ago. The nations are vying for qualification to the next stage of the 17th African U20 championship. The Sierra Leone National U-20 team Shooting Star lost the first leg by four goals to one (4-1) in the Gambia.
The  following report is from AWOKO Newspaper in Freetown;sierra_leone_u-20
Speaking to Awoko Sports the coordinator of the  Sierra Leone team James Fofanah said they are not only sure of victory but also to eliminate their Gambian counterpart at all cost. He is appealing to Sierra Leoneans to come in there thousands to cheer the team. James also stated that the technical team has done their assignment and they are expecting to beef up the squad with six players who were not part of the team in the first leg because of injury. With these players coming on board they will make a big difference in the team.
He also mentioned that if God can answer their prayer in the first 30 minutes of the match he is expecting his boys to score at least three goals as that will put them in a good situation. If they can score three goals within 13 minutes they too can do it tomorrow, he said. He also appeals to the boys to focus as the sky will be their limit and also stated that they hope to make every football loving fan happy after the match. The Shooting Stars team will include Mambay Sartie, Salieu Barrie, Alusine Sanu, Osman Kamara, Ibrahim Kallay, Lansana Kamara, Idrissa Sesay, Donald Wellington, Musa Sesay, Ibrahim Kamara, Khalifa Jabbie, Sulaiman Kamara, Maddi Khalil, and host of other players.
