This is another form of mob justice where the powers that be can conveniently harass and intimidate innocent Gambians when things dont get in their ways. According to reports monitored from Banjul, this woman has been defying all odds to ensure that the proper thing is done for the GNOC presidency. Is there a link between the recent report of the NAM Select-committee on the voter list and her arrest especially on a trivial matter like this? It is interesting to note that a nation that has poor and sub-standard athletic track fields making it ineligible to host any sporting activities of international standard could have its delegates engage in a fierce battle for leadership when the real battle should have been developing the right athletes to win medals for our country. This lady has committed no crime, the only crime she committed is standing firm against those who wanted to use he GNOC corruptly.
