Gambia enjoys boom in luxury sales

Gambia_luxury_propertyUpmarket sales are increasing for Gambia following the opening of new five-star hotels and the political upheaval in Egypt and Tunisia.
Specialist operator The Gambia Experience said it had seen a “sharp increase” in luxury holidays to the west African destination following the opening of upmarket properties such as the Coco Ocean Resort and Spa.
Jason Dicks, the operator’s agency sales manager, said: “"Overall improvement in the standard and variety of hotels in Gambia and an increase in luxury hotel accommodation is attracting new visitors who previously would not have considered Gambia.
“The turmoil in north Africa has also impacted on sales and feedback from travel agents has also confirmed that many consumers looking at alternative holiday destinations are switching to Gambia."

I agree my friend....but the Gambian hotel industry is amongst the best in the world....made so by Gambian employees and 5 star training.

Thats why after 11 years..I still wish The Gambia well.

What will happen..is that some of those who visit Gambia will return to become life long friends.

Hope fully...Mr Jammeh and Mr Gomez will soften there incendury remarks against the British.?

MIKE, IT IS ONLY A SHORT TERM SOLUTION, MY BROTHER WORK IN THE TRAVEL INDUSTRY IN UK. DUE TO THE PROBLEMS IN EGYPT AND TUNISIA, INSTEAD OF REFUNDING PEOPLE THEIR MONEY, THEY ARE OFFERED A CHOICE OF HOLIDAY IN SAY COUNTRY LIKE GAMBIA. THIS IS BECAUSE IT WORKS OUT CHEAPER FOR THE COMPANIES INVOLVE. THIS WILL ONLY GO TILL THE END OF THE DEMONSTRATION IN EGYPT- SAY 2 MONTHS PERIOD...

Only time will tell and let those aimless and haters be talking and talking blues and be building Castles in the air for their self claimed channge. Change have ALREADY HAPPENED IN THE GAMBIA and a new Gambia was born on the 22nd July,1994 and from that day Gambia is progressing and developing at the highest rate.We have a President of the people by the people and for the people. The Gambia is far different from the north African nations.Any nasty creature on our clean streets of Greater Banjul Area your Ass will be washed with ACID,prosecute you and through you in Mile 2 by we Gambian population and NOT the security forces. All good wishers of The Gambia are highly welcome to the Smiling Coast of Africa.
