WWF.The commitment was made during a round table, organized on the sidelines of the conference, under the aegis of the regional programme of conservation of coastal and marine areas (PRCM), and the lifeweb Initiative of the secretariat of the Biological Diversity Convention.
The statement noted that the initiative was followed by development partners: Germany, Holland, Spain, the World Environment Fund (FEM), the European Union, WWF International and Wetlands International Africa.
All the ministers who took the floor showed the achievements and results obtained in terms of conservation, acknowledging that there was still much to be done, according to the statement.
