(Poem) – You behave as if you are superhuman, Portraying yourself as the greatest sage, philosopher and rhetorician, Pretending to be omnipotent, invincible, invulnerable and imperturbable, Defying, castigating and threatening your donors, opponents and Diaspora compatriots, As though you and your people are affluent enough to live peacefully and comfortably in isolation, And that you have the power to crush your perceived enemies or reduce them to dust with one blow, Seemingly oblivious to the ramifications of your reckless acts.

Take it easy!
You declined to discuss with the EU,
Complaining that they wanted to dictate you by virtue of the fact that they give financial aid to your country,
Trivializing their aid by calling it chicken change,
Saying that you don’t care about the West,
But later mobilized your home-based compatriots and instructed your rubberstamp national assembly to express solidarity with you on the issue,
Confirming the widely held belief that you are so much scared that you don’t sleep a wink these days,
Despite your assertions and bluffs
Take it easy!
It is common knowledge that many of the projects you use as propaganda materials are financed by the EU
It is therefore ungrateful, unappreciative, irresponsible and imprudent of you to trifle with them and call the money they pump into your development projects chicken change
To say you don’t care about the EU is tantamount to saying you don’t care about the socio-economic development of your country and the wellbeing of your people
Take it easy!
You stated categorically that you were adamant in your defiant stance regarding the proposed dialogue with the EU,
And told the members of your cabinet that any one among them who failed to concur with you should resign immediately
You amply manifested your dictatorial tendencies through your unilateral decision on this crucial matter of national interest,
Rendering the allegations you levelled against the EU fallacious, ludicrous and ridiculous
Take it easy!
It has come to our knowledge that you have hired a Western lobbyist at an exorbitant price to help repair your soiled image
You are wasting taxpayers’ meagre resource with this irrational act
It is absurd to pay people to wash your body while wallowing in the mud continuously
The best way to repair your battered image or market yourself is to repent and be engage in good deeds,
Avoiding goofs, empty rhetoric and misdeeds as much as possible
In fact, you don’t need a Western lobbyist to market you in the West if you don’t care about the West
You have sharply contradicted yourself once again
Take it easy!
You challenged all dissidents resident abroad to go home and face you if they are brave,
Threatening to deal with them drastically if they dare to do so
You are not more courageous than those dissidents
You are in a position to issue such threats simply because you are surrounded by bodyguards
Any short-sighted, narrow-minded person in your position can behave in the same manner
You know fully well that you would not dare to threaten anybody in the absence of guards  
You don’t have the courage to go to the countries of residence of those dissidents and confront them physically or verbally
 
Take it easy!
Your commissions and omissions are multifarious and exceedingly grave
You are a fully-fledged sadist and oppressor,
Contrary to the impression you and your blindfolded loyalists try to give
It is shameful and unjust to unjustifiably punish the people you are paid to protect,
Denying them their rights, liberties and needs
Moreover, it is folly to brand helpers haters for calling you to order,
Or telling you to treat your own people with justice, fairness and mercy
In summary, your reign represents days of darkness indeed
