Baby Scorpions through to final round

Defending Champions Gambia are through to the third round of the African Under 17 qualifiers after a 3-0 win over Morocco on Saturday.
Needing to offset a 1-0 deficit they suffered in Casablanca, the Baby Scorpions rallied their usual home vigour to see of the North Africans and moved one step towards Rwanda 2011 where it will defend the title it won in Algeria last year. Meles accounted for two of the goals.The Baby Scorpions are now guided by local coach Lamin Sarr, LS assisted by Interior's coach Ebrima Manneh. The Gambia now advances to meet either Sudan or Tunisia who plays on Sunday. The first leg of the third round is in November. After this pleasant news, followed by the Scorpions thrashing of Namibia, Gamsports wishes to thank and praise the FA, the players for giving the nation a pleasant Koriteh.
