Gambian Man Jailed For Burning A US Mosque

Tamsir Lucien Mendy was last week sentenced by a judge after pleading guilty and he ‘’is currently housed at the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison in Jackson’’.

He will serve atleast half of the sentence [10 years] behind bars, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported on Tuesday.
He was arrested on 26 July, 2010 and charged with the arson of "an estimated $100,000 worth of damage to the Islamic Center of Marietta".
The arson was thought a hate crime before Mendy's arrest but investigations later revealed he was upset by a split in the congregation.
"He felt like they couldn't worship properly together split and upset with each other and this was his way, of burning one mosque to bring the two mosques together," Scott Tucker, assistant fire chief for the Marietta Fire Department was quoted by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

I cannot tell who this Oustaz Boukra might be since Iam not an Arabic student but I came to know the said Saidyleigh Iam referring to here for so long !

Your Hadith is authentic one that started with "MAN RA'AMINKUM MUNKARANN........"hadith continued. Very interesting but I would fight the mosque committee to the best of my ability to show my anger/hate against their misconduct/differences if there was one even if we have to go in hand-to-hand blow to condemn their unislamic practices rather than Burning the Mosque because in doing so (burning the mosque), can tell/create a negative stereotype of Islam in the neighbourhood the instant took place and non-muslim residents will also question a lot the the real teaching/meaning of Islam as far as Tamsir's action was concern. I think he has over reacted and that was why the reaction was seen hateful/Hate Crime.
As muslims, i think we can help others understand that this action is not with the teaching of the Prophet or the Holy Qur'an (WALATULKU BIAYDEKUM ILLATAHLUKA). dont put your self in anything that hurts you.

They are both known to me that was why even in my first Message,I put it very clear there that, the one who used to teach in the then St. Peters High School so from there, if you've read that phrase well, you will get tothe point directly, because the Saidyleigh in Talinding Islamic Institute never teach in St. Peters because to the best of my knowledge, after his graduation from Saudi Arabia, the only place he is teaching is under GIU (Gambia Islam Union)
Yes the other Saidyleigh, used to call Therese Ndong Jatta as: My Sister.
Old students of that school can tell you more about him (Saidyleigh)
He was a very brave man who used to preach with bravery without fear to anyone !

"QUESTION TIME PASS WORK NO ANSWER" !
This was his own English.
He graduated from Al-Azhar University.
While the Saidyleigh you are talking about Graduated in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia... Isn't it ?

yes you are right I would not knoow the saidyleigh you were reffering to because i cannot remember anything before 1990 cus I was born late 80's.

Infact those Graduated in the then St. Peters High School in Kombo Lameng knows what Iam saying here, The Man was so interesting that, He used to called the then Principal of the school as: My sister. By then Ann Theres Ndong Jatta was the principal May you don't even know that lady, She was an Ex-Minister of Arafang Yahya in Education Department
