The people that matter in Gambian politics are the ones on the ground fighting everyday the Dictatorial Regime of Yaya Jammeh. Mai needs to show up. There is no proof his life was endangered in the Gambia, accidents happen everyday and sometimes we just have to blame ourselves and not the making of anyone else. Long Live The Gambia and God Bless the Gambian Heroes who are fighting the system within the Gambia.

Not now not later but God knows when but it will be a dream to see you in the Gambia. He is law conscious and possible knows what offences he has already created that if he steps home he will answer the law because he was a reporter for EU and others base in Senegal? If no wrong is done why fears to live in a country you intend to lead and defend the people? I think it was a big mistake leaving your profession to join politics which you would have been best.

Great idea, sometimes i feel this is lacking in our current leadership ..... they all lack the courage to go the extra mile for The Gambian people. In fact i sometimes think if the British did not give us our independence over a meal in London, i wonder if we will ever fought. Sorry slight exaggeration but my point being our political class is just too selfish.

Observation, The Gambia has so many people who wants to become president and sadly none of them can tell you exactly in small details what they can do for the majority poor. The objective is often just be come president and the rest will work out itself later.

Good decision... If you to be taken as a serious politician , then you must go back.... Leadership involves great sacrifice... And in the Gambian political context, your claim to that position will always lack a vital ingredient as long as you remain outside...CONTINIOUS RESIDENCY for at least 5yrs for president...
