Pa Modou Faal Quits Point For Observer

Pa_Modou_Faal(JollofNews) - News reaching Jollofnews has indicated that Pa Modou Faal, the onetime deputy Editor In-chief at the Point Newspaper, has resigned and joined the Daily Observer since two weeks ago . No reasons have so far been given for his change of job place. Mr. Faal who was also the former Treasurer of the Gambia Press Union, is said to have already started work at the daily Observer, notably in the health department.
Faal, is no stranger to the Daily Observer where he served as a freelance journalist in the early years of his career, reporting news and sports.
There has been no word either from The Point over the issue.

Brother KangKang, 4got to mentioned I know keita. The people who will tell the truth intimes of difficulties are no enermies...take my advice keita. The real enemies are people who were telling him to run away; to their own benefit.

People get drag into courts daily; infact we have seen more high profile cases than keita's (Strauss Khan, Julian Assange, Infact rex is there practising why didnt he ran?); I totally disagree u absconding.

Brother Kangkang you heard keita already expressing his success and comfortable life home. I welcome that totally; he didnt have to go foreign land? Honestly br Kangkang the boy would have had fair Justice walahi.

The Namana that I know was a quite gentleman. I make no apology about that!

Whatever happen wiv ur colleagues that is personal and private business I cant comment on that...But remember Gambia is your home and u will always be welcome. I swear I am bitter that u didnt stay to clear ur name

Namana I know you personally belahi! You are not a bad person I can attest to that 100% on personal level...though I am not acquainted wiv ur professional ethics.

Keita my problem with you currently is that you should not have jumped bailed. I am a professional like you with well attained educational credentials.

What really frustrates me about your case is the fact that you should have never run out of the country. I seriously believe you should have gone through the court system and vindicate your yourself if infact you didnt do any wrong.

Namana, belahi walahi I am no enemy of yours & never will be...but as decent human beings we will always disagree to agree.

I cannot honestly attest to realities matters surrounding chief manneh (as none of us can tell exactly what happend)however , I have personally watched ur case with close interest, NOT A SINGLE FLY would have hurt you...fair dispensation of justice would have been done

Nanama,We do not know you as well, all we knew about you is what your fellow journalist told us, some good and some really bad, so dont blame us, we're also a victim of your fellow journalist too, so if you're one of the few goods as you said well you're welcome, start a new life and goodluck, time will tell.

Gambianice or whatever you call yourself. Let me first remind you that I didn't leave just to seek an asylum, for the term asylum is alien to me. You wud be interested to note dat while in Gambia, I was not a desperate journalist as opposed to what you and many others think of Gambian journalists. With two full-time jobs dat earned me pretty well over D17, 000 (seventeen thousand dalasis) a month, I was holding a book to healthy bank account, a personal car and had lived happily with ma family in a reasonably comfortable residence. With this coupled with other privileges, why on earth would I forced ma way into a foreign land if it was not really necessary for my safety.
I am not those join-the-list who are only in the trade for their pocket. I have a strong passion for the profession and how I wish that those evils had not interrupted my career. As the sayin goes, the lizard that jumped from the high iroko tree to the ground said he would praise himself if no one else did, and while I wud not brand myself as the best journalist at the time, I could comfortably said that I was among the best sports journalists in the country, who had traveled far and wide including a trip to the continent's premier World Cup, and had always held sports officials accountable to the masses.
To do this job, and to do it to your best ability, you must be ready to have lot of enemies (bad eggs)and I was definitely willing to have as much as I can so long I serve in the best interest of the general public who ‘re ma main target. You can ask any honest Observer staff and they would tell you who I am. I had alwayz treated people in dat office with respect irrespective of your designations. The only one thing I do not subscribe to is to pretend or hide my feelings. And I wud continue to make my feelings known and heard for I see this as my God-given human right.
You and few other enemies like Pa Malick might be shocked that I didn't become another Chief Manneh, albeit you were so naive not to realize that you people DO NOT hold the key to my destiny but the Almighty God. My only advice to you is to remember that whatever you do or say, just note that God is watching over you and would reward you accordingly. This applies to us all. Thank You

Pa Modou faal made the right decision. Funny world...if Faal had absconded and seek asylum today; we would have seen this page filled with wild imagination.

Faal has made a choice and it is only fair to leave the youth in peace.

Radiokankang what are you talkin about? May be you dont knw that this was the same Pa modou who was at Observer in early 2000s before being flushed out for inefficiency... Its not bad to move ahead in life but Pa modou's secret dealings with Pa malick Faye is no secret... I can only advise GPU to keep a tap on Pa modou if they dont want their informations to be at govt desk at all times...
