because to me it doesn’t help and it seem as am asking others to do the job for me or I have no knowledge on such sensitive issues because they happen mysteriously that we all point fingers to Jammeh. But the way we do it is where we disagree among each other. Brother I have stated this that I am total against oppression of critics or political opponents. Please I don’t think you will take me to the ICC for writing what I know or standing by the majority home? Calm down and let’s take things easy. There is no other place we have in this world except Gambia. Let’s not jump from the frying pan to the fire then were will we call it safe? Brother you look far too mature and intelligent to understand what I write. I will agree if one is proving me wrong on what I write but not forcing me to join making irresponsible statements. I know your feelings but you look better than that. Apologize to me please
Quote “ML will never agree to the fact that Government xontrols the usage of these public macheineries..these 2 gentlemens Manga and Jones are good but they will have to dance to the tune of the Oga in doing their service or else they get kicked out. That's the bottom line ML will never admit because he supports Jammeh”.
Comment: Thanks my brother when such language is used we will get a peaceful debate were we will gain something. I agree with you on the above statement and saying lets give time to them doesn’t mean I disagree with what you predict. You may be right if you say I support Jammeh but is not everything he does. I try to write what I know and if these sometimes support Jammeh, this is where the problem is. You may even notice that I proof my facts going beyond mentioning names. I know were your full disagreement with Jammeh is that am fully with you on that but don’t join you to make irresponsible statements
You are right He owns the West Coast Radio I think up till now he is the owner
Yes This Peter respect himself that is why people inturn ggave and will remain to give him more because whatever difficult one sees yourself, you have to stand on your words.
Let's wish Mr. Manga all the best but for Johns, I don't think he can because of his last ordeal with the system and still eager to work for them.
He should have learn a lesson from that and call it over and over again No more !

And if Iam them too, I will rather prefer to be kick-Out than to Dance to any tune, because that will help them to earn more respect from those admaring and wishing them all the best today !
Just look at the example of our Brother Peter Gomez, how he own the Heart of many, because he kept standing on his principles that what he said will remain and prefered to call it over than to swallow his words !
Hope these two can emulater Peter Gomez.

The point I was making is that this is a wrong perception and approach in managing GRTS....This approach restricts the staff in their jobs of information dissemination and reduces the institution into the 'mouth piece' of government alone.
The other side, which is not necessarily government 'thinking' is completely neglected.
So the potential of the institution and staff (program managers, report ers, editors, pre senters)is undermined because they are not free to perform as they could/can.
Unless the government relinquishes its control of GRTS,the administration will not be able to depart from the status quo.Their hands are tied.
Quote: “contrary to your views (ML),is a Public Institution, fun ded by the TAX Payer,to serve ALL sectors of Gambian society”.
My brother I fully agree with your statement and that’s how it should be. But would my statement be proven wrong then time will tell. I only wish that the new administration incorporate programmes to the best interest of all.
I congratulate both men. The problem is Jammeh again has put square pegs in round holes. Manga has been around for some time but this position is too big for him. He has no genuine qualification in TV or broadcasting. Malick is very experienced but again he is much suited for radio. His TV knowledge is very little. If Modou Sanyang can be Director General, these two men deserve the post.
Comment:
As I said, let us give them chance to try their chances there talking about experience is not that Big issue !
The "Ama Bhulu" that goes to the Space was never an expert at the Jupiter !
