The hope is that, the talking behind protected walls will come to the doors of prominent offices in London. Dictators like other leaders require legitimacy and acceptance. It is therefore up to Gambians to bring out their anger and frustration to the venue of the protest.
If you live in peace, remember there are many Gambians confined to prison walls for no justifiable reasons. Attending the protest will accord you the voice to

Gambian elites will hardly try to solve the predicament the poor and helpless are trapped into, because the elites will butter their bread whoever is in power. Elites don't want to be uncomfortable, this is why, the cries of the illiterates and the poor go unheard. Elites in politics and wider profession are benefiting under the current regime, therefore, it will be a monumental tasks to drag them out their comfort zone.
The poor in Tunisia rose up and defeated a kantangarose dictator, the poor Egyptian rose up against an entrenched dictator and defeated him, the poor in Yemen continued their protest until the tyrant and 30year plus President give up power. The elites will join us later, but for now, Gambians can end this madness.
No capable Gambian man today wear trousers, Yahya Jammeh can squat on anyone at anytime, anywhere and no laws or institution will protect you. The laws of the Gambia are not worth defending because the law enforcers and practitioners have no say without orders from above.
The ball is in our court, the least we can do is be man enough and attend the protest rejecting an unfair, criminal and fraudulent system.
The head of IEC is helpless and cannot do any different from what Yahya Jammeh wish to do. Carayol is a product of the Jammeh mafia system. Like him, many other well educated brothers and sisters don't know how else in disassociating themselves from a mafia enterprise.
Rejecting the system means sacrificing for a cause, and that is too big a price to pay for the elites.
Without exception, no elites work within the Jammeh system who can defy any injustice and remain standing. Those who have the option, avoid getting in bed with him. We expect our politicians to take a formidable stance. Talking and writing alone is part of the bygone era.
Standing up for what you belief in goes with standing side by side with your supporters against unfairness and corrupt practises. We say, let our politicians bite the bullet, the international community is there to defend the right of the people.
We in our part in diaspora shall do our best, will those on the ground put their mouth where their money and time is? Only time will tell.
If you wish to attend the plan propose protest on Friday the 16 of December at 10 Downing Street London. Send your suggestion and ideas to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
This is united and non-partisan effort. Be part of it.
