GMC National Working Committee, pursuant to the powers granted under its Constitution, and in conformity with its Declaration of Intent of 7th November 2010, has resolved to throw its weight behind the candidature of Hon. Ousainu Darboe of the United Democratic Party within the framework an opposition political

I call on all GMC Party militants throughout the country to come out in their strongest numbers to vote massively for the Alliance Candidate, Hon. Ousainu Darboe. I ask you all to defend your citizenship, make sure that your votes count, and defend your national dignity. I ask you to rise up to the challenge, be as vigilant as a serpent, defend the honour of our national sovereignty, the integrity of our Republican State, and stand firm in defense of the entrenched provisions of our Constitution. Let me assure you all, that the best alternative among all candidates is Hon. Ousainu Darboe. With him, we stand to build a New Gambia that will be the envy of Africa and the world.
I take this opportunity to express our serious disappointment that GMC has not been successful in clearing its campaign materials from the Gambia Customs who require a letter from the IEC to enable them process the cargo. We are even more disappointed that the IEC has refused to issue such supporting letter, in response to our request. The said letter, signed by Chairman Mustapha Carayol, referenced AGC 61/87/02(109), dated the 9th November 2011 addressed to us, categorically denies responsibility. The Elections Decree mandates the IEC to facilitate the clearance of campaign materials. Its refusal to issue such a supporting letter to GMC to enable us clear our campaign materials does not augur well. We hope that the IEC shall place itself in the position to conduct a credible election.
In conclusion, I urge all Gambians to exercise their right to vote in a peaceful and orderly manner. Gambians are peace-loving citizens. Let us nurture the peace and stability that we the citizens of this Nation have created in our country. Do not respond to provocation, but defend your legitimate rights. Peace is our most valuable asset. Let us cherish it. Let us preserve it. There is nothing as precious as peace.

You are very right to call me a coward and this is why am not living in the country, not calling for war and will never ask for war unless you the brave man continue to ask for it. The unfortunate thing is that you have make sense out of my nonsense that is giving you a lot of thoughts, that you figured three of us but one fortune teller by the name Joe Bloggs is telling you that am the same person using two different names. What ever accusation or prediction is fully welcomed because this is the type you people are accusation and fabrication of stories. My surprise again is you living in the Gambia and is taking you years to show your bravery? If expressing my own political view is a crime then let it be so. You are free to give me any name because I know the pain of a looser who will even kick himself instead of the one who up-sets him. What a generation of brave people? Am happy to be given red marks not green and I will do my home work.
If any group thinks that they can held us hostage, then you better think twice, the security officers has a job to do, no stone will be left unturn, if you break the law, you pay for it.

Comment: My brother a rainbow cannot threaten a chameleon with colours. I have being hearing this slogan for 17yrs. Is it that you will continue pushing one by one that I see no one standing to rescue the one you push in? Is this not now becoming an ironical statement? Just continue praying for both of us to be in the country the day this war will start in the Gambia and we will know who cyber warriors are. I am a useless coward but I want that day not to be told or anyone fighting for me. Anyone praying for this day, pray that you become part of the war not one to fight for you. I don’t need to say much just feed up hearing this for 17yrs. Most of you will live to regret this day.
