Nevertheless,we should use this ocassion to remind all those who are intoxicated by power and continue to perpetrate heinous crimes against the people, that they will one day be held to account for their actions; in this world or in the hereafter.
That Baba Jobe, perhaps the most influential architect of the AFPRC/APRC Modus Operandi, from the creation of the notorious July 22nd Movement,to the menacingly youthful but equally brutal Green Boys, and the unchallengeable support the APRC enjoys in Kiang and Jarra, can be subjected to such a treatment and humiliating death, should show the rest that Jammeh is not worth such loyalty and support...
Almost unthinkable?
We are yet to know the cause of death.
This will undoubtedly lead to specualtions which could damage immeasurably...the APRC.
Mr Jobe had a loyal following.
The call for a general amnesty for some prisoners by Foroyaa...is most urgent.
Clearly..the international community should be calling for a complete investigation...into this and other recent deaths... whilst in prison.
The International Red Cross...should be challenged to commence a full enquiry into this death and the present, sanitar y conditions in Mile 2.
It is somewhat reassuring that Dr Janneh{another loyal APRC member} is an American citizen...and reported to be in good health.
Much gathering cause for concern.
Opinion.
