Baba Jobe Is Dead

baba_jobe(JollofNews) - The death of the former National Assembly Majority Leader of President Yahya Jammeh’s ruling Alliance for Patriotism, Re-orientation and Construction (APRC), has been confirmed.  Baba Jobe died at the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) in the Gambian capital Banjul Saturday morning, family sources told JollofNews. ‘’He died this morning at RVTH. We want an autopsy on his body to ascertain thebaba_jobe real cause of his death before his corpse is being transported to Jarra Karantaba for burial,’’ said one of Mr. Jobe’s brothers. Prior to his untimely and unexplained death, the former Jarra West Member of Parliament had reportedly collapsed in his cell in Mile II Central Prisons. He was rushed to the RVTH where he had been receiving treatment. Gambian authorities remained tight-lipped about horrible conditions at the Central Prison where prisoners have been dying of unknown diseases. Mr. Jobe’s death followed that of a Dutch prisoner who also died in mysterious circumstances.
It could be recalled that the former ruling APRC political kingpin, who headed the radical Youth Movement (the Green Boys), was arrested on October10, 2003 and later slapped with economic crimes. And in October 26, 2004, Mr. Jobe was convicted by a Banjul High Court Judge, Justice M.A. Paul who sentenced him to nine years in prison.

WALLAH! HENCE my Respect for the deceased & for the loss & pain of his family in mourning...I prefer NOT to bring myself to ur No moral/disrespectful & Jahiliya life...Inshallah!

Eward Singhated said so Koro..U a here supporting and condoning the very despot who murdered him, many Gambians, and still caged people awaiting the same faith in Mile 2 and you coming here playing hypocrites with your dissolute recitations of the Koran and upon that have the daring mind to say I am the “baddy” here. You are more than the hypocrite stated in the Koran and living among decent people. God have mercy on you and u will witness on earth the wreck of God on Yaya Jammeh in your life despite hiding behind your PC. The wind of change to better and civilise Gambia is on its way before he killed all those people in Mile 2 with his thugs like you. God willing

Wow!Amazing how everyone has become a 'Hafiz' of the Qur'an ,quoting this or that sura..... Invoking the Qur'an to pray for the deceased is good, but anything else should be done with care.

What we have here is very simple.....A man has died in prison..... No one, except those in authority ,know the circumstances..... For the good of all, this incident needed to be investigated fully so as to prevent other deaths under similar circumstances

Bax I am not pious, but know and see the hypocrites as stated also in Koran when they appear. WHO DO THEY HAVE TO INVESTIGATE? COMON MR ITS GAMBIA and maybe U like to have "INTELLIGENCE" DEBATE WITH YOUR WICKED and deceiptive mates. Do u know how many Gambians died like this since 1994 and some their bodies still missing? Yet after 17 horrofic yrrs of murders and dissappearaces U still talking about investigation.

Br Bax, this death is something that touched us all...therefore as you will know the onus is not only on the state to determined but all whom it affected.

I personally do NOT have a doubt that MR JOBE's cause of DEATH will be FULLY INVESTIGATED within our humanly knowledge to determine the cause.

It is something I believe EVERYBODY AFFECTED would want to know. I am sure the STATE WILL be very very involved with FAMILY AND FRIENDS to 100% DETERMINED this cause of death.

BAX WE ARE ALL AFFECTED BY SAD LOSS WALLAHI!

However, I am also disturbed by your assertion that accidents are NOT previously in the past fully investigated. Something that I doubt you will have first hand knowledge of...and if your havent then it is only fair not to make accusations.

It is often the case that findings of DEATH ones be respected and shared with immediate affected persons.

I am greatly saddened by this news.

I recall I had a brief but important conversation with Mr Jobe, about drug related crime at my hotel.

Mr Jobe..was both interested and articulate....and visited the hotel ..and put the situation right.

I was very impressed by his quiet and efficient manner.

I found him to be a perfect gentlemen...and not at all like what his image was perported to be.

May he rest in perfect peace.

My sincere condolancies to is family.

Clearly..many questions remain about the conditions in Mile 2.

Yet again, another close confidant of Yaya Jammeh, has been sent th his grave...and yet again,no serious efforts will be made to investigate and ascertain the cause/circumstances of death of persons under detention or in prison.

Astaqfurllah..Br Bax; 'CONJECTURE' as with ur statement is haram and thus sinful Wallah! Infact this is clearly stated in Surat Al-An`am Chapter 6 Verse 116 "...they do not know anything but only guessing"...and Suratul Al-Hujurat Chapter 49 Verse 11 of ridiculing ppl.

Lisa...ur a pure munafiq thus refer u accordingly to Surat Al-Munafiqun,

I conclude my thought of u on Surat An-Nisa Chapter 4 Verse 135 twisting truth to suit ur desires...Allah is all knowing!

If u are paid by Jammeh to defend him here or you are one of the hungry buscuit pickers dont use the quran here cause quran is not joke.Pls dont use the verses of quran again just debate.

If it is caused as a result of avoidable circumstances,t hen people need to provide answers.....

gambianice .....

There is no conjecture..... Investigate to determine causes of death and circumstances surrounding it.....I made no allegations..,..But the regime has failed to properly investigate previous mysterious deaths.....

So where is the CONJECTURE.......
